Manual transmissions are alive and...well, not dead yet

It’s a fact that manual transmissions are vanishing from the U.S. auto market but Cadillac has come out with a TV ad that touts its manual transmission as a mark of sportiness. Nice to see what Cadillac is doing - I only drive MT and it will be a sad day when they are no longer offered in performance vehicles.

BMW offers manuals in the 1, 1M, 3, M3, Z4, 5, 6-series.
Audi offers manuals in the A3, A4, S4, A5, S5, R8.

I don't see anything special about Cadillac offering manuals in the CTS and CTS-V
