VIDEO: WHICH NEW Car Has The BEST STOCK Exhaust Note?

For auto nuts, sound plays an important role in the driving experience. Think about it: when you hear the motor churning away at six or 7,000 rpms and you're just about to hit the redline there's something very magical about an engine operating at full tilt.

Hell, for some, a vehicle's blissful note isn't even near the redline, it's down at the low end.

For example, one of my best buddies from childhood picked up a 2011 Subaru WRX. While the car sounded decent with its stock setup, it sounds like it's breathing a lot clearer now that he had the Subaru Performance Tuning (SPT) exhaust installed. Now his car belts out a snarling, grunt-y note on the low end, which really displays the Boxer motor's true quality.

With that said, this got me a little curious: WHICH car do YOU think has the best STOCK exhaust note?

My friend's SPT exhaust doesn't count since it's an add-on part.

We're talking straight from the factory and you wouldn't change a thing. I have a couple of cars in mind, but I'll feature one particularly striking example down below...

Pagani Zonda F is the best sounding Mercedes motor IMO.

I am a BMW guy but I have to say that under full throttle, the LF-A is the best sounding. It sounds like an F1 car. I like the R8 V10 exhaust note as well. Any Ferrari of course and the Caparo T1 sounds great as well. ,

I am an MB fan but IMO the Current M3 is the world best followed by the LFA.

I like the exhaust note of the Aston Martin Vantage as well as the Maserati Grand Turismo MC. The Benz is good but it's a little too much like an American Muscle Car that's been to finishing school.The Boss 302 sounds better then the Benz. The Grand Turismo is appealing because it a bit more musical in tone then the others.

The Maserati Quattroporte GTS has an awesome exhaust note and is the best compared to any other sedan in my opinion.
