If Apple Ever Designed A Car, Would It Be Like This?
We've speculated before that if technology giant Apple were to build a car, then licencing Gordon Murray's aptly-named iStream process would be a good place to start, with no prior experience creating cars.

We could never see Apple releasing a car as ungainly as the T.25 or electric T.27 though regardless of their cleverness, which is where young design talent of the future comes in.

1. Why would Apple design a car?

2. Why would it look like that?

3. Do you care if I designed a car?

If apple designed a car, it would be very bland, and only be offered in white for the first few years then in black in the fourth year. There also would be no hood seems because they wouldn't want you to be able to open it without voiding your warranty. So things like oil changes, belt changes, coolant flushes, battery swaps, etc would be things of the past. If anything happens to the car they would want you to buy a new one. The lifespan for you average apple car would be similar to the lifespan for your average apple product (2-3 years).

You would also not be able to drive it at all, if you hold the steering wheel the wrong way...

Sounds good to me. You could always dab a little 10W-40 behind your ears and on your wrists if you wanted to feel a little more manly, Joe.

Also, please feel free to send me your three-year old Apple products.

I'd gladly send you my year and a half at the time ipod that wouldn't stop restarting until it ran out of power no matter which hard reset procedure you use.

It was painful to watch this video, although I am an Apple fan, these are impractical cars, I prefer the idea of practicality, And a computer in the car is ridiculous, how about a spot in the armrest for your lap top? I prefer to drive my vehicle.

Apple designs things they know people like, so unless "most" people like the design, Apple would never sell it.

Form over function means first and formost, it MUST LOOK GOOD.

and they would bring a new model out as soon as you have purchased yours.

If Apple designed a car it would be reasonably good, overpriced and would run only on apple fuel. If you'd want to take a passenger, you'd have to load them on special apple designed loading docks and of course you would be able to take only Apple approved pasangers and drive them only on Apple approved roads (unless you jailbrake your car) .... Beseides, within a year of introducing the iCar, Apple would patent steering wheel, car sits, wheels and probably also the idea of front lighs and rear view mirrors.. then they would sue the crap out of every other car makers.
