A lot of the reason for this is because their products are starting to lose their unique looks... when you can get something fresh looking that has similar quality, at a similar price, you're pretty open to try it out... that's why Volkswagen and Audi have been so popular all of a sudden... you've seen them for years on the road, but now that they have a fresh new look, you are more willing to make a switch than you had before. The same with Kia/Hyundai... they have a fresh, sexy new look and about the same or a little less than competitors... why not?
