Considering that it's only an oversized alternator/generator.... that's a lot better then the Lexus LS hybrid that gets 1mpg less then its non hybrid sibling. That is a fail haha

1911, can you explain to me why anyone would make a hybrid that is heavier more expensive and gets worse fuel economy?

Dumbass. The Malibu Eco is not a full hybrid. It uses start/stop technology (among other tid bits) to qualify it in the hybrid category, but it is in no way shape or form a hybrid like the Camry, Sonata, or Fusion. #NoPointInYourComment.com

I wouldn't buy a Malibu regardless of trim level.

I like fun cars thank you :)

Guess the link I found was just quoting the engine power at 389hp, and the LS460 RWD is 380hp. I think its funny that you used the awd version. Does Lexus regularly detune its models to make the hybrid ones competitive?

Camry = Lame = Indian and Asians who do not know too much about cars.

Malibu = Kick butt styling and Technology like Onstar. Can a Lexus or Toyota product do things like save the owners life if it went off the cliff by calling for help automatically or unlock doors from outer space. The list goes on and do not give be that reliability bullshit.

The millenium called and it said to come join the rest of us and get your head out of the 80's. A Malibu wouldnt have you stuck anywhere. The mother of my daughter owns an 09 Malibu LT. 70K and problem free.

You are so dumb its not funny.Japan makes technology for the lazy people like the Self parking feature on the LS cars.Either the driver is lazy or cannot park.In the later case you should not be driving. How many times has Onstar saved peoples lives? If a car gets stolen they can track it and slow it down to a full stop when police give the signal.Give it up.I have owned an LX 470 and it gave us so much trouble I traded it in with only 50k miles. All the engines breaking down due to oil sludge make them very reliable.Japanese are way behind USA.If they forgot remember Hiroshima and nagasaki.
