Given that the stock R8 is lust worthy in its own respect, the ultra hardcore version just dials up the awesome factor in this car.

The Audi R8 GT is "Sports car of the Year 2011" in the category "Production Supercars." 2011 marks the 10th time that a jury from the Auto Bild SportsCars trade journal has awarded the prize which was presented this evening at the Essen Motor Show.

The point is you being the admin of a car web site had to surely have seen one of the articles mentioned above (all conducted by professionals, against rival cars, measuring quantitative Data). Especially World performance car of the year...its kind of a big deal, voted on by journalist, and industry insiders from around the world. Its remarkable that did not strike you as being news worthy, but instead your digging around in German publications "or an Audi fan site" and post the headline as an absolute truth..."Sports car of the year" Audi R8. But the thing is when the R8 came out in 2008 every award it won was posted on this site. I’m just pointing out how obvious yours/009 antics are. Yet only articles where Ferraris catch fire are news worthy on here. This is a perfect example of why this site has no credibility, its just 16 year olds trolling each other to the point that nothing worthwhile is really ever discussed, or presented in credible manner...

It would not have been possible without all the teenagers with their 1.8t jettas who somehow believe it has something in common with the R8. Thanks for voting Audi will be proud of this one. It will surely be mounted in the lobby of the their HQ! Thank god there is no mentioning of the awards the Ferrari 458, and GT3 RS 4.0 (evo mag car of the year) have won in 2011. B/C let’s face it on Audispies anything VW rules, and Toyota sucks….that’s the message your trying to get across right?
