Seller refuses to give a Bentley after it was bought on eBay for $14k

It was a mistake to try and sell the Bentley on ebay. A mistake the dealership should be held responsible for.

I agree. They should honor the deal. On top of that they should have used the reserved price of they did not want to sell the car for so cheap.

"Bentley ...bought on eBay for $14k"

Contract law is fun!!

The issue goes to whether or not there was an OFFER and an ACCEPTANCE of that offer!

Sneaky on the part of EBay removing ALL traces of the transaction though! Deceptive practice anyone??

E-Bay should put up a notice when sellers wish to list a car that they are responsible for the price they set the reserve at.I question whether the dealer made a simple mistake or the price was deleberately put in to entice a buyer.E-bay should state that they bare no responsibility for the mistakes and make the seller e-sign on line that they understand.
