Toyota Announces Price Increases On Most Models
Toyota Motor Corp. released 2012 model prices for a number of vehicles, including the Corolla and Matrix compacts, Tundra pickup, and Venza and Highlander crossovers.

Prices vary with vehicle grade, engine size, transmission type and drivetrain.

The company said the price of its 2012 Corolla models increased between 1.2 and 1.8 percent. Including a $760 delivery charge, the Corolla will be priced between $16,890 and $19,580.

Why can't they depend on the govt? They've gotten billions out of the American government and the Prius was basically funded by the Japanese government.
