2012 BMW 3-Series Launch Photos- God Is In The Details And So Are WE!
The biggest criticism of the last 3 has been shattered (the spartan interior and un-Audi-like quality). It is now the STANDARD in the premium class not only in choice of materials but interior ergonomics and driver orientation. The competition has it's work cut out for them.
We drive it tomorrow so keep checking back for more photos and drive impressions...for now enjoy the best photos
look at the DETAILS and quality of our photos compared to the competition...in ours you can see the fine points of the car, the grains and textures of the materials, it's as if you can actually touch and feel them. Its like being there with us
And the quality of our photos has not gone unnoticed. Not only are we number one in the world for autos how photos on Google and most other search engines but the FINEST camera makers in the world,
Hasselblad
, have chosen us to use their equipment and have become the Official photo sponsor of AutoSpies.com.
On OTHER sites you're JUST a spectator but on AutoSpies.com it's as if you're THERE!

Nice shots as usual! I hope you'll also be making a video too. Plus, more exterior shots are appreciated.

More photos of the surrounding area in Spain please.
I enjoy traveling vicariously around the world through the pictures you take on your launch trips.
Pictures of the hotel accommodations, restaurants, and surrounding points of interest are most appreciated.
You must have one of the greatest jobs in the world.
Thank you.

I like the look of the new front end... but I think they kept it too much like that last one...
The interior is an improvement, but I'll need to check it out in person.

The car is beautiful, exterior and interior ,design for me is very elegant and is easy to see the quality of the materials.

Interior design and quality is a vast improvement over the outgoing model but I don't see how it is THE STANDARD for the class. Also, I wonder how one would clean the dust and dirt that will collect in the narrow pocket behind the center screen.

agreed, it looks almost identical to the last one
the wood trim looks fake, and kinda ugly actually
oooohhhh warm LED light coming out of the plastic airbag label, how fancy
The front-end looks like it was sat on by a sumo wrestler. I'm sure this car will continue to be a fantastic drive but no way in hell is it going to be the standard of interior quality - Audi is still the car to beat there.

From all the autoshows I've been to, almost all the Audi's I have sat in had bland gray plastic boxes for interiors.

I noticed that a lot of the bright spots of the pictures are washed out. Was this artistic intent or simply a camera limitation?

Nice car in which 80% of the exterior is a carryover from the last generation. Great redesign!!

Actually this is what BMW needs >>> a softer interior.
They have done it in 7 ser and 5 ser and its the 3 turn !
Waiting to see the coupe and the M3 :)

Please bring Bangle back and do a proper next gen (rather than this mild refresh).

It does indeed look high quality and refined. Unfortunately the horrible run flats are still the only tire option and that makes it a no go. I've had 4 flats in my 330xi in the last year. In this week's Autoweek they reviewed the new 5 series and they also had 4 flats in only 8000 miles. If your wife wants a car for running errands around time or you have a short commute, this is a great option. If you ever need to take road trips, you're rolling the dice!

Different but not equivalent to the high level of design and ambiance of the Audi. The entire layout looks disconnected and disparate. There is no flow or cohesive design. Just individual elements that don't relate to each other. Looks like another committee developed interior.
Not pleased with the GPS panel looking like a stove top smoke vent.

Nice exterior. Thank God BMW hasn't succumbed to the LED spotlight craze. The interior though......hmmm

Nice and it screams BMW all over! But the C and A4 have gained a lot of terrain while this new mini 5 was coming out.
