The First Real World Shots Of BMW's Stunning 335 M-Sport Arrive From Barcelona
You might be wonder how many days does it take to cover the 2012 3-Series. Well that all depends how in depth you want to go and how good of job you are willing to do.
The 2012 3-Series is something to behold and these first shots of the M-Sport variant are just another fine example of the attention to detail given by BMW to the end product. Becoming available stateside in June of 2012 the all new 335 M-sport will be proceeded by the 328 on February 12th.
Now the big question is, can you wait until June or will you just have to pick both the 328 for the winter and the 335 M-Sport for the summer.
As always the excellent exterior shots are courtesy of the FINEST camera makers in the world,

BMW still using crude unfinished brake calipers while everyone else is using shiny Brembos (or at least painting the calipers).
M Sport? Doesn't look the part. Reminds me of the Lexus "F" Sports. Nothing to make is sportier peformance wise, just cosmetic. How can they call it a sport without an LSD? Either way, nice face-lift. Not sure how some people where can call that a complete re-design?

Actually there is quite a bit to help in performance, namely the suspension and brakes. It makes a difference. Why do you think the GTR was spanking cars with 100hp more with similar weight? Why do you think slower mini's from the 60's were spanking muscle cars in road courses despite the muscle cars being way faster in a straight line?

I am surprised that I am not as interested in the M Sport Pkg as I expected. I am not digging the blue plastic trim or the seats, or the wheels. Blah. I think IF I were to replace my 335 Coupe (Sport Package) that I would lean toward the Sport Line or Modern Line trims.

I'm sorry, but is there a lack of Bavarian cows for BMW to slaughter and use for upholstery? If not, why on earth have they elected to use a disgusting cloth trim for (haven't looked it up but presumably) their most expensive 'Line'. The M Pack will most definitely be ridiculously priced and for an "entry-level luxury sedan", BMW are going to ask customers to pay a premium for proper leather seats? What a joke.

You have to be a BMWoholic to recognize the differences.
The headlights look decidedly Toyota like.
The low priced cars like Hundai and Kia are emulating the high end cars and employ their design cues.
The high end cars are looking like the low end cars. You must do a double take to see the difference.
Thankfully, it is still impossible to mistake a Ferrari for a Lamborghini .
