Oh most people would be more interested in having a car that doesn't try to kill you. But that isn't what the viper is trying to be. It's all about performance lol. Performance that nothing from Japan can touch.

An M5 is too soft for me. I'll take my '13 Viper roadster in highlighter yellow with black stripes and a stick, please.

You want fiat/Chrysler to make a 2 ton car that requires 4 turbochargers to get a 125hp/liter ratio.

The veyron engine is basically two VW W8 twin turbo engines fused together. That would mean 4.0 litres and 500 hp a piece, on par with todays turbo engines from BMW. What is amazing and what sets the Veyron apart is than anyone can drive it. It is comfortable enough for an 80 year old woman to drive. Not to mention all of the luxury and refinement that goes into it. It would cost Chrysler way too much to design and build one of these. Look how much the LF-A cost Toyota. They, like Bugatti, make these cars at a loss because the combination of low volumes and outrageous research and development make it impossible top make a profit.

I can't wait. The automotive universe just wasn't complete with the Viper absent. America needs an equivalent to the GT3 RS to be taken seriously as a car-producing nation and this is it.
