Good job in the US Mercedes..but pity it won't help much given when you bid goodbye to your no. 2 worldwide sales ranking to Audi this year....so long!!!

You apparently know nothing about the history of the Mercedes brand.

They've always sold vans, buses, trucks in the past. In fact when the automobile was in its infancy they were the first to venture in and create these new vehicle types I just mention in the sentence before.

And nowadays luxury is changing. Higher fuel prices, parking space problems etc. all mean some people want smaller and more efficient luxury cars.
