Land Rover Plans A Bigger Evoque

Land Rover is planning a bigger Range Rover Evoque, fuelled in part by the success of the smaller car and the continuing growth being enjoyed by the brand.

The firm’s expansion involves proposals that would take it into new niches, finding favour over similar projects at sister brand Jaguar because the potential sales and profits are greater, according to insiders.

The LR4 is one of the most advanced vehicles on the road. You want your porches, off road enthusiasts want their luxurious off roaders.

Should make it the new Range Rover Sport.

absolutely not. the sport will remain 2nd only to the full size range. this will simply be a 7 seater evoque...

Utilitarian:

LR2 (compact - may get axed in the USA - IMO)
LR4 (7 seater)
Defender (flagship)

Luxury:

Evoque (compact)
Grande Evoque (7 seater)
Sport (niche)
Full-size Range (flagship)

The point of this "bigger" Evoque is pretty obvious. I honestly think the Evoque name alone should have been the name. Range Rover should have never been tied to it.

Oh, if your wondering the "obvious" reason behind a bigger Evoque, its CAFE for the entire Land Rover brand!
