You probably already heard of this comparison test before, but know you can read it for yourself. Do you agree with the finishing order? Which car would you pick?

I know, but the article was just put up on the website recently. I don't think that all people that view AutoSpies have a copy.

I'd take the Carerra but not with that hideous tan interior..make mine red/black or black/black.

cadillac is last, as usual... surprised SL550 is first. Must not have been judging it on performance...

Actually the MB had above average performance, but I agree they went for GT attributes more than flat out performance.

They did not judge the winner of the cars based on performance and driving dynamics such as acceleration, slalom, handling, grip etc...

Instead they based the results on GT attributes. Based on that, of course the SL550 won.

The SL550 does not outperform the Porsche Carrera in any category of acceleration or driving dynamics.

Give me a 911 Carrera anyday over the Mercedes-Benz SL550.

Any true auto enthusiast looking for the best acceleration and driving dynamics would say the same thing.
