Dodge Dart will receive an optional 9-speed transmission
As you may know already, Chrysler made quite a buzz on the web when it released the first images with the all-new 2013 Dodge Dart, but it appears that the American manufacturer has even more for us. According to Sergio Marchionne, the 2013 Dart will be certified by EPA at 40 mpg or more by the end of the month.

And where does ZF come from? Germany! But good for Chrysler for having an 8 speed. Ford ang GM need to keep up on that perspective.

Actually I thought they made some ZF transmissions in the u.s. I know Ford uses/used ZF before.

hey angryinch, I didn't miss, them, I just never read any follow up articles where the EPA revised their estimates or admitted they were off.
