The individual Prius models will dilute sales and individual accounting of the vehicle may show as a sales drop, but the added flexibility in the range will only server to increase sales. If they were simply rebadging the same vehicle across multiple brands there wouldn't be a net gain.

Agreed. Toyota going a bit overboard with the number of models without doing enough to distinguish them.

If anything, the new commercial is increasing interest!
But the vehicles themselves do have good disparity amongst them and are selling well!
