Depends how old you are. I remember the original Darts. And they were cars people would laugh at.

Well, I remember the late 60s with the 340 engine. They were a hot little mover for the time.

I only go as far back as the early 70's models. After the EPA killed performance. Those Darts looked horrible. Even during that time.

My mom had a 1963 Dart GT. 225 slant 6, seat belts weren't even an option. My dad added them a couple of years later.

Never forget I was removing the left front tire (don't remember why) and I snapped all 5 wheel studs because I wasn't aware they had left handed threads. My dad could not believe this little 10 year old kid could do it. Since he had Cragar SS wheels on it, he had to get 5 new wheel nuts as well.

The demographic that Chrysler is targeting with this car only know of the Dart name from their uncles and wikipedia.
