"2011 Civic = 2012 Forte"

Not even Chinese companies will copy the new Civic's design. It is that poor. Even with Honda Civic badge that design is not selling and Honda have admitted it. They are already rushing a highly reworked(mostly styling) Civic for 2013/14. Kia is not stupid and certainly have got better designers than Honda so why copy bland and vanilla new Civic.

BTW sketch looks nice. Looks like Baby Optima.

I don't take these conceptual sketches too seriously. They're often similar to the final product in the way that concept cars are - futuristic, attractive - but they're almost always toned down or worsened for the production car.

If the Panamera looked like that, no complaints would be heard about its looks.

Want me to keep going Huu76? Because I can list another 500 cars if you want me too.

Lets get C pillars shall we? 2005 Honda Accord, Pontaic G6, Caddy CTS,Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion hint C pillars but only the 2010 Kia Forte would be the copy cat and ignoring that the Lincoln Zepher also has slanted C pillars.

Boxes: Hummer, Land Rover, Jeep Commander, Nissan Cube, Honda Element but only the Soul is the copy ignoring the 2011 Nissan Quest, Ford Flex and Scion XB.

Oh yeah Huu76 the 2011 Kia sorento arrived before the new Odessey did hint Headlights. Infact the Sorento concept came out wayyy before the Odessey concept arrived which was the Kia KND-4 concept.

Mazda 6, Acura ZDX and Buick Regal hint side profiles.

2006 Hyundai Sonata and Chevy Cruise hint side profiles.

Oh as the commet with the Audi tailights. Why is it that it's found on the backend of the Acra MDX. Last I checked Schyerer worked for Kia not Huh-da.

SUVS with slanted C pillars, Honda Passport, Chevy Blazer, Toyota 4 Runner, 2nd generation Chevy Equionox, Mercedes M Class, Ford Explorer but only the 2003 Kia Sorento was the copy ignoring that the Isuzu Rodeo, Saab 94-b, 1st generation RX and 1st generation MDX also has slanted C pillars.

SUVs with slanted C pillars pushed toward the rear, 2nd generation Lexus RX, 2nd generation MDX, 1st generation Infinti FX, Chrysler Pacifica, Toyota Venza, Hyundai Veracruz, but only the 2011 Kia Sorento is the copy ignoring the Suzuki XL-7 also has slanted C pillars pushed toward the rear.

Hmmmmm who have I left out? Hmmmmmm OH how stupid of me. Why on earth did the Ford 500 copy the Audi A6's greenhouse Schyerer doesn't work for Ford.

2010 Ford Taurus and 2000 Nissan Altima hint face.

2012 Ford Taurus and 2011 Toyota Highlander hint grille. Toyota just keeps copying Ford's signature designs. For example, 2008 Ford Edge and 2009 Toyota Venza hint headlights. Everytime Ford tries to differ its designs from Toyota since it keeps copying Ford, Toyota copies.

I can only laugh everytime I read this number thrown around. It has to be the IQ of the person that started such a retarded comment, or the one of anyone that believes it.

You see, my uncle happens to OWN a Hyundai dealership, and he told me his store moved more than 39 Gen's before summer even got here. That's just ONE store; last I checked there were, oh I dont know, at least a dozen or so Hyundai dealers in the U.S.

And that's just the U.S. Up in crappy canada, where they're so poor it's practically a third world country, the Gen is the 3rd best selling coupe, behind the Camstang. So, if they've sold over 2500 in that pathetic country, common sense dictates that here, where people actually have spending money, it's selling even better.

Or the Mazda CX-5 copying the greenhouse of the Infinti EX greenhouse duh again. Huu76ack don't be jealous because I have gifted eyes vs your biased eyes.

"Atleast the Japanese actually keep some Japanese names in their cars rather than giving them all European/Italian ones to fool people into thinking Hyundai/KIA is a white car company."

If anyone is ashamed of their brand it should be Daewoo. Daewoo has to use Chevy's badge in order to outsell the Rav-4 same for the Cruze as well both making top ten best selling car and SUV every month. The Sonata and Sorento, which also are top ten best sellers, have the actual Hyundai and Kia badge on them. In other words put a Daewoo badge on the Cruze and Equinox on those Chevys and then lets see if they sell.

But I really don't care Kia's got a rwd coupe to unveil at NAIAS 2012. I do remeber saying that.
