SPIED! STUD Or DUD? Mercedes Preps GLC That They Hope Is Their BMW X6 Killer!

Dear 001,

You guys called it before anyone else predicting the BMW X6 would be a big hit and sales figures have certainly proved it.

So now everyone is trying to jump into the fray and do a smash and grab on BMW.

Looks like Mercedes is next up as they are readying their potential X6 killer, the GLC.

Will they succeed with this direct hit?

As you guys say, is it a STUD or a DUD?

They dont produce that many to begin with. Go on to the BMW lots and see how many X6's are out there, none! look at the used car listings. They are going for almost retail after 2 years! That is good resale value and also tells you how high the demand is.

That is a rendering, and that is scanned from a magazine. That is real spy material that is scanned from someone else(sarcasm)! Probably Autobild or Automobile Magazine.

X6 in my opinion is just a unique look at the SAV - not just a box with wheels. I like it a lot actually.

I have X6 now. Let me tell you this, the attention you get is amazing. When you fill up gas at gas station at least one or more person will come and say how good looking is that SAV...

Maybe the X6 looks... special, which explains the attention, but why did you buy the thing, anyway? I can't believe any car guy could live with himself after funding BMW's betrayal of its heritage like this.

They put Turbos on an M Vehicle, AWD in their sedans, Even considering building Front Wheel Drive vehicles and those events passed you by, but a Coupe(ish) shaped SUV and you get upset.

The X6 M and X5 M were the first turbo cars labeled Ms and the first Ms to have AWD, while being overweight SUVs. The X6 M is still the worst because it even has that sickening roofline, which cuts cargo and rear-seat space in half.

I never said I was okay with a FWD BMW, but I absolutely despise the X6.

Can you truly state everyone else is coming aboard, when nissan and infiniti (murano,fx) started this over 6 years earlier. Integrity is everything or you have nothing? We might as well be holding their jock strap and asking if their comfy!
