Chinese Company Wants To Resurrect Saab Minus GM Technology
Chinese carmaker Youngman is still negotiating to try to salvage parts of bankrupt Saab, according to reports. Youngman was bidding to buy until Saab until the latter’s company chiefs filed for bankruptcy on Monday after the Chinese deal was blocked by former owner General Motors, which owns the rights to much of the technology and components used by the Swedish car maker.

No, they would pay for it, and they offered to buy Saab, but GM of all people refused because they didn't want competitors in the Chinese markets that might end up using GM technology. Sorry.

Smart move, minus American technology. Even the so-called "American technology" is free, they should dump it immediately. Otherise it just ruins the whole auto industry in China. I am shocked that GM can call their junk as "technology".

It's funny you say that, because anytime a piece of American Junk crashes or falls to Earth, China is always the one that buys it and then makes cheap and crappy copies. Of course I am referring to the pieces of F117 that was shot down in Serbia, the skin of the modified Blackhawk in Pakistan and the Boeing drone that crashed in Iran.
