As long as Chapman doesn't bangle up the design direction, Hyundai will keep comming up with hot selling cars. BMW in the interim, still has some of the ugly design elements from the Bangle era.

Bangle brought some of the most innovative and daring designs BMW has seen in decades. His absence is clearly seen in boldly bland 5 and 7 series cars today.

I disagree with you. There maybe remnants of his design in the current car, but BMW has erased much of the essence of his designs. The current 5 & 7 series design is about as daring as the last generation Camry. BMW needs to return to their classic inspired, sporty dynamic design and let the boring, bland design with athletic accents and chisels to Mercedes.
