SPIED: An Entry-Level AMG A-Class Is In The Works
Remember when Mercedes-Benz showed off that exciting looking entry-level A-Class? Well, Mercedes is bringing out that puppy and its moving full steam ahead with a tamale that's a wee bit hotter.

Like most of Mercedes-Benz's lineup, there also will be an AMG variant coming down the pike. I mean, they even made an AMG R-Class -- just about anything's game these days.

Now with competition in form of the Audi RS3 and BMW 1-Series, it was only a matter of time.

Speculation has dubbed the vehicle the A25 AMG with power output around the 320 mark. Nothing's certain but I think it's safe to say the A AMG will be set up with bigger brakes, an MCT or DCT gearbox, better bolstered sport seats and a rip-roaring exhaust note. That's just the AMG way.

When has an AMG ever been boring?

just because it has an AMG badge (decent wheels and bumpers) does not mean it is interesting... MB does not know how to make small cars that will sell in the US

Along with those wheels and bumpers, it will have 320HP. Sounds interesting to me. But by "interesting", I mean moronic. A hot version of a bland, practical MPV? WHY?

It's necessary because of the performance versions available in the A3 and 1-Series.
