Used Car Nightmare? Poor Economy Forces Many To Put Off Or Skip Maintenance
A new survey by Consumer Reports shows that the poor economy has forced many Americans to skip needed servicing of their car or truck. And the long-term results of this neglect could be both costly and dangerous.
Forty percent of those responding said they had deliberately delayed repairs or maintenance on their primary vehicle in the past year.

These drivers had put off work on the brakes, tires, exterior light bulbs or mechanical parts – even though they knew it was needed.

“This is of great concern because many of these items impact safety and reliability,” says Jeff Bartlett, deputy online automotive editor at ConsumerReports.org.

Friggen Obama. He needs to give bigger tax breaks to rich folks in order for that money to trickle down to the middle class. So that they (the middle class) can have money to maintain there cars. It's really simple. It's called "trickle down economics" and it works.

If he were truly for it, he would be explaining that the incentives to keep jobs in North America are helping the middle class out.

Joe,

Are you for trickle down economics? Do you believe that it works?
