Exclusive-First Known Spy Photo's-BMW "M"'s First Diesel Product - X6 M 50d

Only Spy Shot's in existence of BMW's new "M" Product,the X6 M 50d.This is the car teased in the two BMW TV vid's with the details of the car blurred out.The buzz is the car will be powered by a new Tri-Turbo Six Cylinder Diesel Engine producing 381Hp/545lb-ft Torque.The distinguishing item's unique to this car are:Power Dome Hood,New X6 Facelift Front Fascia Air Intakes and new LED Headlight clusters.Also the rims match up to the ones in the teaser vids.LeMans X5 the mod over at Xoutpost.com did a frame by frame breakdown of the teaser vids.I've included a few here.After reviewing the stills...no doubt we got our man.One gentleman in the vid says the the car "sounds like a sports machine". I've seen and heard the car in person.The exhaust note is outrageous....better than the X6 50i...which sounds like a NASCAR V-8. You would never know the X6 M 50d is an oil burner. Thanks. PalBay

This will be my next car - FINALLY, a diesel powered well handling SAV. Hope it comes in 2012 and not 2013.

Well, to be honest, a diesel M engine wouldn't really bug me if it weren't put in a mutant SUV. I could stomach a diesel M3 or 1M or M5. But a four-wheel-drive turbodiesel coupe/SUV with an M badge? Yuck.

Finally worked my way through X6 (yuck), got to the M (ok, but on an X6), then best part -- the 50d. What a monster engine, and probably still gets 25+mpg. Let's just pull them out at the port and drop the X6 out in the water.
