A lot of people have called the Bugatti Veyron an engineering marvel. There's a bit of validity behind that since it has claimed, again, the title of the world's fastest production car.

AND, it also is a remarkably easy car to drive normally.

You can't say that about every vehicle that does 200 plus mph. Usually those vehicles are solely built for speed and everything else is more or less extra baggage that's distracting the supercar from it's sole mission.

Down below we have two titans, in their own respect, going head-to-head on the drag strip. A Nissan GT-R vs. a Bugatti Veyron.

At the end of the day, regardless of the luxury appointments or how easy it is to drive, this is a numbers game.

Don't focus so much on the start but more so on the times and weigh in down below.

Put this Buggatti against a Nissan GT-R Alpha 12 and see what happen. I know it the Nissan GT-R Alpha is mod but how fair is it racing a car that has half amount it power.

The Nissan GT-R Alpha 12 can do 1/4 mile in 8.9s mark. Do a search on youtube for this title" World's First 8 Second R35 Nissan GTR - AMS ALPHA 12" to see the video for yourself.

That's great; however, the question is can it run fine every single day.

Sadly not significant.

I think the GTR driver was a sleep when the race started...

stock car versus a modded car... really? The early r35 is a high 11s car stock. granted the price differences is ludicrous..

I'm relieved the Bugatti won.
