DETROIT AUTO SHOW: Subaru BRZ vs. Scion FR-S - Can You Spot The Difference(s)?
Without question, one of the hottest stories in 2011 was the joint development of a rear-wheel drive sports car between Subaru and Toyota. It was an entry-level two door dream come true.

That's because no one really does that whole rear-wheel drive thing for around $20 large.

But usually when two companies -- specifically competitors -- come together and build a product, they try to differentiate them from each other. In this case, uh, that's not the case. Hell, from what I can tell even the rims are the same.

There are only three pieces that are profoundly different between these brothers: The front clip, steering wheel and seating.

Can you spot anything else?

These cars are good for at least one thing--months of "shootout" tests by journalists.

Well, both are cool and good. Whenever you purchase a Scion, you know it will have a good resale value. The brand is really well-liked by young adults with the unique styling.
