Is Audi nutz? A Diesel Sportscar for the US. Will the TT Diesel be a Success or Failure?

It wasn't that long ago that Audi was known for creating cars that ran over their owners. After the “sudden unintended acceleration issue” debacle, the company went on to establish a rep for building high tech cars of dubious reliability. Although Audi’s position at the bottom of JD Power’s 2005 Vehicle Dependability survey doesn’t indicate much movement on this residual critical front, the company claims to be addressing the issue. Meanwhile, Audi’s got a secret weapon in the battle to carve out a bigger chunk of the US car market: diesel.

Audi ain't nuts at all. In fact, BMW has a diesel 3-Series coupe in Europe. MB has two diesel CLK's I believe, the CLK230 CDI and CLK320 CDI and I think I saw some CDI C-Class Sportcoupes too! The Audi A3 of course also comes with diesels. Diesels are in. ;)

If the 3-series diesel coupe came to the US, I'd be first in line.

Yeah this fool is crazy dubious reliability? The only dubious thing is that article, Audi have seen that the future is Diesel and lets just say their stepping there game up

I believe the C Coupe Diesel is the C190 CDI.

I don't see the point of this article either, merging two totally un related things together, cuz the word AUDI appeared
