DETROIT AUTO SHOW: Lexus LF-LC vs. Acura NSX - Who Is Your Winner?
The 2012 Detroit Auto Show came and went, at least the press days did, but that doesn't mean that some impressions weren't left. And to be quite honest, there were TWO products that really were head and shoulders above the rest.

Even better: They're competitors.

Maybe not head-to-head since they're still concepts and details are to be hashed out; however, their manufacturers aren't know to be friends. That's because it's Acura versus Lexus and they're both sexy and slinky coupes.

The new NSX is more of a wedge-shaped two-door coupe, where as the LF-LC follows the LFA's stride with a fastback design.

Ultimately, there can only be one. So, who's the better looking one of the two?

They're both really, really well done. I prefer the NSX personally, but only by a bit.

Thought the LF-LC had no chance of production according to Lexus? Maybe wrong.

Styling wise LF-LC > NSX.
LF-LC is very original design and one of the best looking concept ever. Also the Interior of LF-LC is equally stunning. NSX is impressive as well and honestly wasn't expecting this much good looking car from Honda.

Overall, I'll take the LF-LC. But the rear end (lights, trunk etc.) on the NSX looks much better than LF-LC in my opin.

Check it out... Didn't Lexus know that front end design was already done?

It'll be competing in different segment. Design-wise Lexus certainly wins. NSX looks too like something from 10 years ago.... but still looks better than R8.

NSX for sure! The lexus lines for me can get dated fast...the side profile of the car looks more and more bland every time I look at it.

NSX!
The LFC looks too feminine and bubbly. The NSX is more masculine and real.

Hey Lexus, the tv show "Gold Rush" called and they want the gold "catcher" back. Need to remove that grill.

Both cars are shockingly good (the shock being that neither brand has made particularly good looking cars in the recent past and suddenly these cars appear).
Overall I like the Lexus better (I never thought I would see myself typing that statement). It's original and I really like it's flowing, tied together look. And the interior is simply stunning. However, I still hold the grill looks like the silhouette of a cooking pot!
I think the shape of the NSX is striking and well balanced. It makes me want one if they build it--and it appears to be more realistically buildable compared to the Lexus. I would have hoped that Acura would have introduced a new corporate "face" instead forcing the clunky Acura "beak" on the front of this beautiful NSX. It looks incongruous to my eye and keeps the car a half-step behind the Lexus.
I think both these styling exercises will keep the rest of the premium makers up at night.
Both cars are home runs and my advice (if it's worth anything to the manufacturers) is that they build these cars (after Acura makes the grill more in keeping with the rest of the car) and put the Euros on their collective heels.

Both!

I'm loving that center divider piece on the inside of the Lexus. It's like telling your passenger to don't even think about reaching your hand over here.

Not a fan of both but I I've credit to Lexus this time the Acua is a copy of the Audi R8.
