MOST Extensive 2013 Porsche Boxster Photo Gallery On Earth! 150 NEW Shots!
This week we had the chance to see the 2013 Porsche Boxster finally unveiled. One thing strikes us weird, though.
Why did Porsche wait until the end of the 2012 Detroit Auto Show to make the news available? Really weird.
Anyhow, since running the original photos that were made public, there was an enormous response from YOU -- our tasteful readers -- that the new Boxster is really an exceptional looking vehicle. Well, I can't disagree, it really is one nice looking piece.
I really have no clue how anyone is going to be even able to shake a stick at this product given it's refreshed cabin and already amazing driving dynamics. Good luck, boys!
That said, we've got MORE shots for you to indulge in. 150, to be exact.
Enjoy!

Great looking car but inside and out. Why pay an extra 30-40K for a 911 convertible?

I'm sure Michael Mauer was under a lot more pressure on how he had to design the 911 then the Boxster.Where Mauer was really able to change the 911 was in the rear end and the roundish headlamps. However on the Boxster he uses styling accents from the original Bxster show car of 93 and the Carrera GT. Even the headlamps are now radically different then the 911. In fact the only commonality visually with the 911 is the front lowe apron spoiler and the front parking lamps. The sideview is visually quite different. On the interior I like how the center console morphs into those air vents to disect the dash. This adds more of a sportscar cockpit to the Boxster. On the 911 I'm still seeing a lot of Panamera corporate dashboard effect. I do like the rear tail lamps on th 911 better then the Boxster. However I do think the way the rear spoiler intersects the tail lamps is interesting. If these cars are significantly lighter then their predessesors then the minimal horspower increase is even more beneficial.

Stunning, I love it. Targa lease is up soon and need a 4 door as well. So if you were in my shoes and needed to have a 2 car combo but within a certain price point; its either (M5 and Boxster S) or (335 and 911 S Cab)- thoughts? Porsche hit this one out of the park!

I don't think there is a prettier convertable in the $40,000 to $80,000 price range on the market today. Far more attractive then the 2013 911 cabrio. In fact I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this is the prettiest mass produced Porsche in about 50 yrs! I'm going back to the original 911 and perhaps the Porsche 904. Yup... It's my opinion and my opinion only. A Ferrari 308 series is prettier but not by much at all.

Beautiful car, but I still like the Boxster Spyder looks a lot more.
