Toyota #1 !!!!

Take that Haters!!!!

Better than BMW. Better than Porsche. Give Lexus sometime in the global market. Toyota and Lexus will be number 1 and 2. Or two number ones, since either brand (Toyota/Lexus) is not a number 2 to any other brand.

I don't understand. How come lexus is in 10th place? Shouldn't Lexus be on top? I guess the Tsunami had an effect.

OK. Weather or not I understand, could you tell us why a brand as great as Lexus is in 10th place?

"The values in the survey are determined by the brand’s financial performance, the role of the brand, and the brand’s strength".

I understand the financial performance criteria but, how do you measure "the role of the brand and the brand's strength"?

This study is based on band value (something that can vary rather significantly based on market).
with that said, i find Lexus is doing rather amazingly consider it is only the 5th (or 4th?) year since it become a global brand, yet is not that far behind Audi, a brand that has been around for a lot longer than Lexus and has been a global brand since day one.

Toyota JUST released their Virtual Booth for the Detroit Auto Show. It's pretty awesome.

It looks like Toyota has some pretty nice Hybrid/Green Cars on the way..

Here's the video/link for it:
