AWESOME or AWFUL: Is Lexus' FIRST LFA In Slate Blue Doing The Trick For YOU?

AWESOME or AWFUL: Is Lexus' FIRST LFA In Slate Blue Doing The Trick For YOU?
Just about every car has a single color it looks drop dead gorgeous in. For some it's the silvers that really bring out a vehicle's lines and POPS, for others that are particularly hideous it's best seen wearing black. A lot of it.

When it comes to the controversial Lexus LFA supercar though, it has been criticized for being too pedestrian and "Supra-like," while others have said it looks too zany. Everyone has an opinion on this product.

So when Lexus' Facebook page displayed an image of the LFA sporting this remarkable shade of blue -- a pastel -- we knew we had to raise the question to YOU:

Is the Slate Blue LFA doing the trick for you? Is it AWESOME or AWFUL?

Considering the LFA's ordering catalog has every shade of the rainbow, we're just starting to see the unique colors arrive. So far I have seen:

- Pearl red
- Bronze/Copper
- Pearl blue
- Bright Red
- Pearl Yellow
- "Nurburgring" Edition, Orange
- Matte Black
- Black
- Pearl White
- Silver
- Dark Gray

That said, when are we going to see a pink one already?

I like it.

I like it. It's not "obvious" like yellow or red. It's sort of looks like a shade Mercedes used in the 60's. I've seen an old Pagoda roof SL in a similar shade.

Give me one, Lexus, I'll take good care of it.

Looks like the color Ferrari featured the California in when it first came out

That color reminds me of shop class. I prefer a deeper shade of blue and more metallic.

It is alright. I would prefer another color, but whatever floats your boat I suppose.

Like it but they should have gone brown. AM and Suby have blue on lockdown. The new browns out there look really good in metallic paint. And noone uses it as their debut color ever because they are too scared that it would remind people of...

Also the tires are looking a little dated. They need somthing unique there for their supercar.

I'll take that car in any color any day
