THIS Is Your Warning: If You're From New York, Stay Away From Tennessee!

Have you heard of Meredith Graves? Well, if you're from New York and are planning to pass through Tennessee anytime, you should likely read the following.

In response to Graves' arrest for showing up to the 9/11 memorial in New York City packing a pistol, a Tennessee-based legislator has created a resolution that essentially targets New York drivers who are speeding.

While it isn't assumed to be taken seriously, as it is more likely a method to draw attention to Graves' case, isn't this even a bit over the top?

The resolution will be voted in the Tennessee house of representatives this week. If it passes, it will travel to the senate then the governor.

- He didn't have a "NY" carriers permit. Gun permits aren’t issued nationally they are issued by state. Anyone with a brain knows that gun laws vary from state to state. And anyone who carries a gun into NYC without a NYC gun permit (NYC requires its own permit) is a dummy. He got what he deserved for being a dummy. Case closed.

I found out pretty quickly that Rules and Laws differ from state to state during my first visit to the USA.

Simple things like "Talking on the Cell Phone" is/was perfectly legal in FL while illegal in NY so why this gentleman would think his Gun License would be valid in NY is beyond me; especially a CCP.

That said, the fact that h approached the guard and asked where to "Check n his gun" should have indicated to the Guard and Police Officers that he had no malicious intent and a subsequent database check that shows no previous criminal convictions should have resulted in a stern "Telling Off" and left to go on his way.

There seems to be a serious erosion of common sense in all Government Departments and Civil Service. Same thing is occurring in UK.
