SPIED: Audi's All-New RS6 Avant Spotted For The FIRST Time

We are excited to share this brand new, exclusive gallery with you showing off the new Audi RS6 “uber” Avant, which our spy photographers caught testing in Sweden. We don’t know the specifics about the engine just yet, but our sources tell us that it will be based on the 4.0 TFSI twin turbo powerplant that is powering the S6, S7 and S8. The very fact that Audi is testing this in plain sight without any camouflage tells us that details should be forthcoming very soon, perhaps at the Geneva Auto Show in March?

I know RS's are not suited for the track, but I hope its not to heavy, and can handle better than the old RS6..if it wants to compete with the panamera and M5.

Would be nice to play with. But fuel and maintenance ... I'd be a lot happier owning an A6 Avant Quattro with 2.7 TDI, 6-speed manual, and S-line suspension. Then you'd still have Audi luxury/handling with repair bills reduced to not much more than an E-class owner's. (seriously ... I've owned 3 A6's, 2 of them Avants. Loved them. Not as much as my mechanic did though. I think they funded his kids' orthodontics)
