Toyota Raises Forecast Based On Government Incentives
Toyota Motor Corp Asias biggest carmaker, raised its global sales forecast because of Japanese government incentives on fuel-efficient vehicles and demand for its new gas-electric Prius compact.

Sales, excluding those of subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co. (7262) and Hino Motors Ltd. (7205), will climb 21 percent to 8.58 million vehicles this year, the Toyota City-based carmaker said in a statement today. That’s 100,000 units more than the company’s projection last month.

Oh yes, much like how Honda, Toyota, and Nissan all received billions of dollars in American aid. *eyes roll*

Do you in your delusional state believe that the American companies could capitalize on these incentives? They would have to build manufacturing plants in Japan to create cars designed solely for the Japanese market. Doing so would negate the money grab lol.
