Ford to offer EcoBoost engines in 4 more vehicles
Ford Motor Co. intends to provide EcoBoost engines in 11 vehicles in 2012, an increase from seven in 2011. The automaker also plans to triple the production capacity of EcoBoost-equipped vehicles. The company is counting on its range of turbocharged EcoBoost engines to boost fuel economy

Why must they come out with a name like that. Its just a turbo engine like everyone else is doing, but Americans are so gullible we actually think its some kind of revolutionary technology pioneered by ford. My 85 745i turbo had oilers that sprayed the pistons with oil on the bottom to cool them on the way down. Ford acts like this is some sort of new technology that no one else has. but advertising and marketing gimmicks are the only thing that keeps American cars competitive enough to not go under. If their advertising was as conservative as Honda and Toyota and they didn't always try to compare to trick people to thinking their product is superior to the Asian cars they wouldn't' sell near as much. Honda, Toyota and Nissan never try to compare themselves to Detroit big 3 or try to bash them to convince people that their car is better, because people that have a clue already know better and see past domestic advertising propaganda,
