Volvo seeks partner for small cars
To cut the costs of new-car production, Volvo is on the search for a partner to share in the development of its future small car range, the Financial Times reported. Volvo has been owned by Geely since 2010 when the Chinese firm bought it from Ford. Volvo is eager to help in dividing the costs of making new cars.

Just so you are clear VOLVO is the one that developed the platforms that Ford uses. The Ford Explorere, Taurus, Flex, Lincoln MKS, MKT, Mazda 3, Land Rover LR2.........ALL are based off the P2 platform developed exclusively by Volvo. Along with a number of safer devices/aspects of those cars.

Wow real embarrassing Ford take it, use all theirs safety secret then is over ,that he result when Ford buy something and then leave it. Embarrassing . They just use it,same with Land Rover and theirs electric and quality issues, to bad for Jaguar too ,when customer realize they use ford engines and components, why pay more??. they lost theirs value fast and a lot of customers choose other Germany brand instead , so sad.
