LEAKED! Did Hyundai Just Make Entry-Level SUVs Much More Interesting?
As we've mentioned numerous times over, the entry-level sport-utility vehicle class has been needing a shake up for quite some time now.

Though we've seen manufacturers take on the compact class, around the $24,000 mark there isn't anything remarkably compelling.

But today a couple of spy shots hit the interweb on Hyundai Blog. The publication is suggesting that these two images are leaked photographs of the all-new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe set to debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show.

Boasting some new styling elements to make it stand apart from the rest of the crowd, you'll see one image with a large, chrome grille and a rear end shot that seems to be blend of styling elements from Audi's Q5 and Infiniti's FX -- note the rear hatches glass and the taillights.

That said, Hyundai has been on a hot streak with sales propelling upwards and new products that are capturing the attention of new buyers.

Can Hyundai continue stealing attention away from Toyota and Honda? Is this new and improved Santa Fe working for you?

Scheduled to make its official public debut at the up-coming New York Auto Show in April, the all-new Santa Fe CUV will boast a dynamic exterior layout with styling influences from the most recent crop of Hyundai cars (new Hyundai i40 and i30 hatchback).

Up front, the 2013 Santa Fe will sport a “Hyundai family look” with most notable features being the hexagonal grille with layered chrome bars and LED headlamps...

Hyundai = VALUE. They know how to offer well-built vehicles at a 10% to 20% lower price than competitors. But, they still have the old Exel reputation hanging over their heads.

I agree their are 10 to 20 percent lower, because they use cheaper everything. Don't be fooled they won't hold up.

Like all good marketing and design, Hyundai will do everything to maintain momentum, if the Ford starts at 22, watch Hyundai reach for 19 and push innovative styling. The question for me is will Toyota mail in the RAV4 like they did the Yaris or will we see a gamechanger.

Hold up wait a minute let me put some jtz in it. So we bringing up copying again huh? Ok. Why not bring up the Chrysler Delta that also looks like the Murano. Oh wait but since Chrysler is not Korean it's orginal right? Audi tailights? Ignoring that those tailights are found on the MDX as well. Also as for copying Subaru? I'm jtz and designs are my forte. Buick Lucerne and 2006 Mazda 3 sedan hint tailights.

2008 Hyundai Elantra and Dodge Dart hint sides. No one wants to say that though. But if the Elantra arrived after the Dart, "They copied Dart"

Lets see lets see so many designs so many copies from Acuras to Volvoos. Ok 2012 Nissan Versa hatch and Mazda 3 hatch. Remember you guys said the Kia GT copied the Aston Martin but no one said nothinb about where the STYLISH LOOKING FORD Fusion's face came from (at least I can admit a stylish car). I'm jtz have a nice day!!!

OH as for the Ford Edge grille? So what the Toyota Venza's headlights copied the Edge's too. But since Toyota is from Japan it's orginal. Just like how the Tundra face doesn't look like the Lancer EVO's or Iroc concpet's.

C Pillars on hatchs or crossovers. New Escape, Mazda 3 hatch, Mitsubishi Outalnder, Rav-4, Pontaic Vibe.... but only the Cee'd's c pillar was a copy.

Vehicles with side grilles. Nissan Patrol, Mini Cooper, Land Rover, Pontiac G8, Lincoln sedan, Caddilac, but only the 2011 Kia OPtima is a copy, ignoring the Ford 500 also has grilles on the side.

Ignoring that the Mitsubishi OUtlander's front also looks like Audi but since it's not Korean it's orginal.

"Looks like an audi in the rear"

So does the Lancer, 2nd generation Infinti FX 45, Acura MDX, but only the Hyundai can't look like an Audi in the rear.

Cars with kinks at the rear C pillar, that new Acura Sedan (whatever it's called), Lexus IS, Pontiac Grand Prix.... but only the Kia GT is the copy.... ignroing that the Dodge Charger and the 4 door porsche panamera also having kinks at the rear making it look difficult for the person and the back to see out of when sitting at the rear.
