What The? Study Ranks Hyundai And Subaru Dealers Above Lexus In Customer Satisfaction
New-car dealer satisfaction with their respective auto manufacturers continued to increase in 2011, according to the National Automobile Dealers Association's (NADA) latest Dealer Attitude Survey.

The survey, conducted twice a year, measures dealer sentiment in three key areas: franchise value, automaker policy decisions that affect the dealership and the automaker's field staff who visit dealerships. Nearly 54 percent of new-car dealers nationwide, representing more 14,700 franchises, responded to the 2011 summer survey.

Hyundai finished in the top overall spot for the third consecutive survey period, with affiliate Kia finishing fourth. Subaru climbed back to second place for its fifth consecutive Top 3 finish. Lexus dropped to the third spot. Mercedes-Benz finished fifth. Toyota and Volkswagen improved to sixth and seventh place, respectively. Porsche, Audi and Cadillac/Honda rounded out the Top 10.

no...but lexus buyer LOVE their value pricing (they're appalled at mercedes and bmw prices and don't care enough about cars to pay a premium). same strategy the koreans are using.

I own two Mercedes' and I am very happy with the dealership. They're friendly, courteous and they also send me information about new Mercedes' via email. When I am there I feel like a well-treated customer and I will continue to do business with them because of this.

Okay, 009. The editorial decisions on headlines are getting more careless (though spy6's failure to read beyond the headline will likely justify your method of getting clicks and responses). This has nothing to do with customer satisfaction. This is how satisfied dealerships are with their manufacturers.

Hmm, more comments about "customer satisfaction" are made. I take it back, 009. Brilliant strategy. Ever think of just skipping the articles altogether?

You don't belong on this site. You have a BRAIN...LOL good for you.. Lexus dealers are upset that Lexus was taking too long to come out with new models. That will change this year. Everyone will be happy again.

Some of the posters can. The question is whther or not 009 can, when he creates his inflammatory headlines.

There are good dealers and bad dealers. I'm sure every automaker has some good ones and some bad ones.

the koreans are doing an amazing job of copying the lexus strategy: build a high quality car, value price it, provide good service...and the masses will love it. they'll never get premium prices but this is a valid road to profits in the value auto market.
