EXCLUSIVE: First Photos SPIED From The Official USA 2012 BMW 3-Series Launch!
Agent 001 has landed. You know what that means...
After arriving in Monterey, California for the all-new BMW 3-Series launch, 001 didn't waste any time snapping photos of the all-new 2012 BMW 3-Series.
Now some of you may be saying "Huh? Didn't AutoSpies already cover the all-new 3'er launch?"
Yes, we did; however, there is one catch: BMW didn't let anyone drive the all-new 335i.
That said, make sure to take a look below and check out the FIRST shots of the all-new 2012 335i.
Stay tuned to AutoSpies in the coming days as we update our photo galleries and show you every nook and cranny of the 2012 BMW 3-Series.

Amazing to see how the 3-Series has grown up. I like it. It looks much more refined. Good job BMW.

Considering the new 335i engine is nearly identical to the outgoing it really isn't all that exciting.
Also, why are there no shots of the Sport Edition?
Love the all Oyster interior though- very nice.

@Bond
001 just landed and from what I gather just took the cars for some quick photos. I don't think the program officially started yet.

@BMW
Although I'll be the first to admit that the E90s interior was NOT anything to write home about, I don't think this is an improvement really anywhere from a design perspective.
Seems too busy.
Not sure if I like/dislike the Apple-inspired navigation, either.

Well I saw the new 3 in Detroit and thought it looked great inside and out.
To each their own..

I would rather have the 1980’s VW pickup, it has an oil dip stick and a spare tire.

So, then it would have 2 dipsticks. :-D

I am looking forward to possibly ordering one of these, a Sport line for sure (looking forward to more shots soon) to replace my 09 335 Coupe. Going for a automatic trans. this time around versus the manual for better mileage and because it's a no cost option and so responsive (having driven the new 5 series with the 4cyl and the new X3). I like the new and more interesting dash layout and gauges and excited for the HUD. The M Sport package is sure to be really exciting once it's released.

Love the front, the headlight/grill is definitely an improvement. Looking forward to seeing the coupe. I thought the last generation was meh, but this is much better. Thank you BMW for making the 3er look different.

looks great...cleaner inside and out. given the strong reviews for the 328, can't wait to hear first driver reviews of the 335.

Anyone out there still calling this a "complete redesign"?
