Feds On Verge Of Mandating Car To Car Anti-Crash Measures

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will decide next year whether to pursue new regulations governing vehicle-to-vehicle communication, Administrator David Strickland said Tuesday.

“We have been working on this notion for over a decade,” Strickland said of emerging technology that allows vehicles to send signals to one another to avoid collisions.
