Why Lincoln can be a luxury player without rwd

Nonsense. The RL, boring tho it may be, is a luxury car. So is the A4. So is the ES. I could go on. Meanwhile the Crown Vic was no luxury car. Nor is the Charger. Again, I could go on. The article is right that Lincoln does not need RWD to be succesful. But the intro is a joke. A snobbish joke written by a typical BMW/MBZ snob.

For someone who claims to know cars shouldn't even consider a front wheel drive car being a car to care about. FWD cars are cheap to make that lack control, and performance. Even if they make them AWD, their layout is still FWD.

But as far as Ford/Lincoln, I don't care if they make all their cars RWD, they will STILL be one of the worst cars.

Without RWD, Lincoln WILL be perceived as just another rebadged Ford. Lincoln should have a RWD top of the line model like a Continental. Similar to Lexus' LS460 and at the same time having an ES and a mainstream model.

A luxury player with out RWD.... right because Acura is doing so well in the market with all of their non-RWD cars. I'm sure Lincoln can conquer this territory...
