As you know, we were at the USA press launch for the all new 2012 BMW 3-Series this week in Monterey.

And at the event, we were told the official launch at USA dealers is February 11th.

But while 001 was on his way back to the batcave in San Diego, LOOK what he spied heading south on the 405 on route to America's finest city?

The all new 3-series, ELEVEN days early!



So if you want to see it in person BEFORE everyone else, we suggest you mozey on over to your dealer because our bet is most are receiving their first ones tomorrow.

Get used to it. Engine displacements and cylinder counts are declining.

I for one would much rather have this turbo 4 than the old inline 6. The thing had no torque, you couldn't have fun unless you wound it up and dropped the clutch. I test drove a 328i coupe and was very disappointed.

The numbers on this one are incredible. AND if you use the Eco button, you'll probably get 10-15% better than the EPA estimated. Fun and efficiency. I like that combo

Who's to say those aren't the press launch vehicles going somewhere?

A few dealers may get them early but my bet is they won't hit the transporters until mid next week for a Fri/Sat delivery...
