Toyota Steps In Full-Time And Fills LeMans Void Created By Peugeot
Toyota has registered for the FIA World Endurance Championship in the wake of Peugeot's pull-out from the series last month.

The Japanese manufacturer has entered the championship rather than contesting individual races on an invitational basis as was originally planned.

This means it will be considered a full-time entrant, which gives WEC promoter, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, the two manufacturers it requires in LMP1 under the terms of its agreement with the FIA.

I wish them the best of luck, hopefully Le-Mans is less competitive now that Peugeot is out and they can win a few races (unlike their F1 experience).

I don't know why Toyota get into this racing of totally custom made cars. They should participate at GT3 and face off w/ GT-R or Porsche.

GT300 they face off with gt3 porches and ferraris and so on with Prius :D .
