Toyota Believes Sales Will Jump 21% In 2012 Based On Prius And Camry Sales

Toyota Motor Corp. (7203) forecast sales at Asia’s biggest carmaker and its units will rise 21 percent this year as their production recovers from natural disasters in Japan and Thailand.

Sales, including those of Hino Motors Ltd. (7205) and Daihatsu Motor Co. (7262), will climb to 9.58 million vehicles in 2012, after falling 6 percent to 7.95 million in 2011, the company said today in an e-mailed statement.

I once had a Toyota that was a Chevy, or was that the other way around. Made at the NUMMI plant in Northern California, until GM bailed out.

I'm not talking about whether the cars are built in the USA with American parts. I mean to say that the Challenger harkens back to America's heritage and captures the spirit of the American muscle car like no other.

@ Nomoreobama2012. Any manufacturer of anything warranties their products for HOW LONG THEY THINK IT WILL LAST.That is why Toyotas are warranteed till Not till 100k (Powertrain like GM and Hyundai) but 60k because they know whats in the DNA.Engine oil sludge,Ball Joints falling off,Tail gates breaking,Sudden acceleration etc) They are tired of towing bills so they limited the roadside assistance to 20k or 2 years.Other manufactures are way more because they hardly have to do it.HOW ABOUT RECALL KING IS THE MAIN DNA MARKER.
