CHICAGO AUTO SHOW: Is The Dodge Dart Going To Pick Up Where The NEON SRT4 Left Off?

CHICAGO AUTO SHOW: Is The Dodge Dart Going To Pick Up Where The NEON SRT4 Left Off?
In the world of tuning, the Dodge Neon is a pretty big heavy hitter. They're relatively easy to find and the market for modifications, specifically the SRT4, is pretty large.

That means there are a plethora of options when it comes to customizing your Neon. But now that the Neon is dead as a doornail and the new, Italian-flavored Dart is going to be the new entry-level vehicle, will it pick up where the SRT4 left off?

The reason I ask is because at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show, Dodge was happy to show off its Mopar wares, which included some modifications to the Neo...er...Dart.

I hope so. I want Chrysler/Dodge to do well. I like the 300 and Ram models.

Of course it will, it looks like an updated Neon.

Storage in the front passenger seat back is an interesting idea.

Your right bill. In NHRA Drag racing, One of the fastest SRT-4s was Shaun Carlson's a 7.90 sec 1/4 mile run at over 180 mph. Also Mike Crawfords SRT-4 with over 1000 hp did an 8.306 at 172.36.

Yeah and I have also seen a VW corrado 4 cylinder run a 7.23 quarter mile. when you have the money you can make anything fast.
