LEAKED! The 2013 Lexus RX Makes Its Online Debut, Guess What NEW Addition Joins The RX Lineup
It's been about three years since the all-new Lexus RX made it's big debut. I remember it like yesterday because it was at that press junket I met Agent 001 for the very first time.

Back then the RX didn't appear MUCH different from the vehicle it replaced; however, it was a MUCH better driving vehicle and the interior was where the big changes were. It was in late 2009 that the RX displayed Lexus' all-new haptic tech Remote Touch system. You know, the whole mouse-like controlled navigation system deal.

If you've found the RX a bit too bland for your taste though, it looks like Lexus is going to be spicing things up with the updated 2013 RX. Now the RX will follow in the GS' footsteps by taking some creative license but here's where things get juicy...

Though these leaked images are of a Japanese-spec product, it's safe to say we'll likely benefit from the addition of an F Sport RX.

Much like the IS and GS, F Sport will be making its way to the new sport-utility vehicle.

What other changes do you notice?

it's a handsome facelift. the lights are stylish and the grill is sporty. the problem for me is, the profile & rear of the vehicle do nothing to flatter the overall style.

nice job lexus. still dont like the interior.

Yes, I did notice that it looks like they only changed the front...

Great improvement! Really like what they did to the grill (very GSish). The Tesla Model X still blows it away though ;)

I'd take a 450h over the unproven Tesla marque any day of the week...

Looks very nice especially front end. The update has injected some much needed aggressiveness and sharpness to the design which looked very soft and round. Good Job Lexus.

The problem with getting more "aggressive" and "sporty" is that people who wants this car to be more "aggressive" and "sporty" won't actually buy the car anyway. They changed it to cater to the critics that have nothing to do with the target market. They should be asking current RX owners (soccer moms and housewives) what they want in their car. Thats who it appeals to.

Lets face it, even if they accommodated to the request of all the "enthusiasts" many will still not buy it because its not what they want...

I like what they have done with this refresh. Hopefully they will bring those other leather interiors here to North America.

It's nice, but please make the RX a rear wheel drive and a BIT longer! THEN I'll buy one.

I think that would be called the GX.

an 'F sport' RX?!? this is truly hysterical. there is not a shred of performance DNA in that vehicle. it's a soccer mom mobile. but some aero kit and big wheels will make it 'sport' model. hahahahahaha.

The sales leader will keep it's lead once again. The F-sport looks great. They are not trying to make a race car. High speed and high center of gravity equals danger anyway. Most people like you really can't handle a car at the limit.

have you driven an X5M or X6M. high center of gravity. phenomenally fast. and incredible handling. just because lexus can't make such a vehicle doesn't mean nobody else can.

They are also twice the price and designed to do so. There is no money in it that's why Lexus doesn't build one. No volume. I like my sports cars low to the ground...

Rome wasn't built in a day, so this is a step in the right direction.. keep it up Lexus.

On looks alone I'd take that F-Sport RX. I just wish they did something with the rear. Oh well, its nothing a smoke kit to the taillamps won't fix. Good job Lexus. I'd still take the competition or a handful of other CUV's over this but the fact that I would even take one of these now says A LOT.

Oh look, the new CT200h SUV, I mean GS SUV, no wait, it is the new RX SUV.
