VIDEO: You've Seen The Pics, Now Get A Glimpse Of The 2013 BMW M6 In Motion

At this stage you're probably sick and tired of seeing images of the all-new 2013 BMW M6. Well, they're still here.

But there's good news! BMW's released video footage of the all-new coupe and convertible milling about on the streets and track -- not that you'd take this super GT there anyway.

I'd suggest hitting the "mute" button though. For whatever reason, BMW's marketing department thought it'd be a wise idea to dub music over the video rather than let the forced-induction V8 do the talking for itself.

It's not much to sweat over anyhow as it'll likely sound similar to the M5, but still. C'mon.

Solara?...well I do not like as much but I do not think is as bad as Solara...but definitely is not as exiting as it should, but sadly Germans designs are ugly (most of them lately).

Love the new M6 coupe, its such a nice improvement over the outgoing model. I think its one of the best looking M cars in a long time, and its going to be silly fast.

As far as weight goes, for the amount of luxury/power it offers its not that heavy at all. Its going to handle...it may not be a boxster, but it was never ment to be.

To put the weight in persective.

I think you missed the point. People say the M6 is too heavy, but in reality there are many high performance autos with similar or even significantly heavier weights. I wasn’t suggesting all the cars are competitors…

The M6 will be able to handle the track better than almost any car its size. BMW could have easily made the M6 much lighter but the price would be much higher, so It doesent make much sence. If you want a lightweight, stripped out track car get the M3 CRT or GTS. The M6 is a super luxury coupe.

Badgewhore2 : I disagree with you cause the real king on that dept is MB. The problem rise now that BMW wants to be as MB and MB wants to be as BMW....I hate the trend that both companies have right now. We are losing the super quiet and powerful and luxury cars the MB use to do and We are losing the Great Sport cars that we use to have from BMW.....Sad...Now an MB try do noisy cars cause it is Sportier when we want luxury ultra silence cars, and BMW needs to enhance the sound Electronically in M5 ?????????...please...

Well the M5 cannot be two soft if it laps the ring quicker than a Panamera turbo, and does the 1/4 mile as fast as a R8 V10.... Also turbo engines are in inherently quiet, and it’s a luxury sedan that at the push of a button can offer sports car performance. So you can have a quiet 5 series one minute, and an edgier car the next. After reading many reviews very few people mind or can even notice, and from the outside the car makes some serious noise.

bmwcs: Thats my point. M5 now is too heavy , In one test on track it was around one second quicker than the CLS 63.....We hope more than that. I know CLS63 is great...But Luxury oriented...M5 should be lighter and a lot more quicker. M5 with nice sound is Ok, CLS63 nope. A lot of weight for luxury and gadgets is OK for CLS...nope for M5...Why I want 2 cars that are almost the same with different badge ? both manufacturers are taking the wrong path IMO.
