I still have yet to see any apologies from editorial staff regarding the GM bailout.

We still have a major manufacturing ability, we still have all those jobs, we still have all the supplier jobs and firms, and we still have all the directly related industries that feed and clothe and house all of our auto workers.

Lexsucks, given the fact that you and your buddies (or aliases) uaw_lax and billfrombuckhead get more negative votes than anyone on this site, I don't think the editors should concern themselves with your criticisms. Clearly, your warped thinking isn't shared by the vast majority on autospies. I will remind you that it isn't autospies that injects politics into the automotive industry, as you complain. They merely report on it. The uaw brings politics into the industry with their incestuous relationship with the democrats. Myself, and many others, would be thrilled to see the gov't stay out of the automotive industry, but to ignore the government's involvement (and the uaw's paid influence in politics) and censor any related stories is to ignore reality.

Screw the UAW and screw OBAMA. All he has created is the United States of Entitlements. I am tired of having to share my hard earn money with a bunch of losers supporting OBAMA that the only thing they want is a free ride.

You are delusional if you think Republican are the only ones destroying America. This payroll tax cut President Obama is only going to push social security into insolvency faster. Obamacare is cutting $500 billions from Medicare. He will accumulate over $5 trillions in new debt. He said President Bush was "unpatriotic" for adding almost $5 trillions in 8 years. What does that make him for doing it by the end of 4 years? President Bush was wrong for going to war in Iraq under bad intelligence from one former Iraqi exile (I got it from 60 Minutes). President Obama is only making our future worse. Both the Republicans and Democrats are driving this country into the ditch. Unfortunately, we do not have a Reagan, Lincoln, or Washington to vote for in November. Since it will be between President Obama and a Republican, I will choose the Republican. If he continues to drive America into the ditch, I may vote for a Democrat next time. The America my family immigrated to in 1980 is now so different. I hope to see it again someday.

Reagan wasn't and isn't the republican saviour. If Reagan were alive (and young enough to run for office) today, the current GOP would run him out of town. He raised taxes? No way!!

While in office Reagan:
1) Raised Taxes

2) Traded Weapons for hostages (Can you imagine Obama doing that?)

3) Gave everything to the top earners. Which caused serious Urban decay. NYC was in shambles when Reagan was president. The 1980's america was run down and decayed.

4) And last but not least. Nothing trickled down.

And you are right. Both parties are messing up america. But one party is beyond repair, confused, and caters to thier extremes. They are not equal.
