Holy $hit, that is very impressive mileage for a midsize sedan that isn't shaped like a pillow.

Im sorry...the Toyota's mileage is damn good. You have to consider build quality, reliability, resale value, etc...Have you ever road in a used Ford? Wow! Your going to have to do a whole lot better than this to get my $$. Its a FORD!!!! Most people who talk trash about Toyota have never given them a try, test drove, owned... Toyota is HOTT, which is why it's name is always in the mouth's of ALL the automakers!!!!!!

U mad?

How old was the last ford you've driven in? Did it have sync? Was it a fiesta or something of comparable price?

Why? Because the only way to possibly beat the Hybrid Camries numbers is to release another hybrid camry?

Toyota is only as good as its last product and Ford is only as bad as its last - so the point is if Ford creates something praiseworthy, then give it a chance.

Toyota's disaster of a RAV4 (2005-2009 V6 models) was the least reliable Toyota made (read any forum re RAV4 complaints). Worst Toyota ever. From transmission clunks to steering column noise to brake pump failures, I absolutely hate the car and so do most people who made the mistake of owning any of those model year RAV4. So, yes, even Toyota screws up every now and then. No differently, Ford is allowed to succeed. I've heard nothing but great things about the Ford Flex.

You have nothing to gain by wishing Ford ill will - competition is good.

You've probably seen them, but they are hard to distinguish from gasoline Fusions.
Also they've been on sale for 3 years (launched in March 2009) not 4.

Wasn't the hybrid technology in the first fusion and escape borrowed from Toyota?
