SPIED: Mercedes-Benz's SL 63 AMG Getting Finalized For The Geneva Motor Show
For 2012, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled it's all-new SL-Class drop top. Some expressed love, others hate but it may have been too premature to judge because as you can see from the latest spy shots, the AMG is on its way.

Said to be armed with a 5.5-liter, forced induction V8, this upcoming AMG is said to pack over 570 horsepower, which should be enough for most horsepower freaks.

Now this may be speculation here, but judging from other all-new AMGs, we can expect the SL 63 to have a flat-bottomed steering wheel, other alcantara bits, bigger wheels and brakes, stiffer suspension and an updated aero kit.

You can already see its quad tailpipes, make out its front/rear valence and side skirts.

Some add-on aero kits and cannot save that design.

New SL looks like the old SL.
Sorry, I can NOT get excited or even interested in this car. Wasted effort in design.

It's lost some of it's sexiness...

The red SL actually looks quite good.

The silver one looks rather boring. Amazing what a change in color can do IMO.

old one was much better looking. It was one of my favorite cars. New one is bathtub shaped. Hate the headlights.
